Fun facts about The New Inn…
Nothing really ‘fun’ to report. It’s a very warm, friendly and welcoming traditional country pub. It’s made from Ironstone, has been extended and opened out over the years. Has an Aunt Sally sports team, and a function room. Vegetarian friendly. Resident beers include Doom Bar and Tribute.
Fun facts about Middleton Cheney…
Err…Nothing really ‘fun’ to report. Middleton Cheney is a large village in West Northamptonshire, England, located about three miles east of Banbury. It’s known for its historic All Saints Church, which features a 150-foot spire and William Morris stained glass. The village also offers amenities like shops, schools, a library, and pubs, and is surrounded by countryside and close to the M40 motorway.
It has an active Parish Council, which meets every couple of weeks for its “Finance & Policy Committee Meeting” and then once a month the “Parish Council General Meeting” next one is on the 15th Sept [sorry we’re back to Sundays by then].
The last registered event to be held by “Ents24” at the Middleton Cheney Village Hall was 1 Jun 2019 – a Double Bill of ‘The Wasp’ and ‘Plot’.
No pressure then… it’s all about the Hare this week… Fun facts about Thrifty G…
He loves Middleton Cheney – it’s the perfect blend of relaxed country village, lots of fun facts and plenty of events for the local community to take part in. He’s not so keen on Doom Bar or Tribute, but a fine wine will do while he’s attending the ‘Finance & Committee Policy Meetings’ while waiting for the next Ents24 event to come around.
