The Bull Inn, 36 Bicester Road, Launton, Bicester, OX26 5DQ

Some say that the official home of Bicester H3 is Bicester. Others don’t say anything, or “prefer not to say”. Some say that Launton is the ‘true’ home of Bicester H3, or the ‘second home’ of BH3. Whatever people say, everyone agrees it’s been the base for many a great r*n and social gatherings alike.
This week, we are back in Launton, searching out the routes, the paths that other meets haven’t reached. Soaring to new heights of mud and shiggy. Perhaps even a wet grass field or two, slippery styles, curious cows and passive aggressive sheep. We’ll take it all in our stride and most of it ending up inside our footwear.
Step forward (or maybe more appropriate – slide backwards in) Buttocks. A hare so daring and dashing, not even he knows the exact route or length of the trials until they are laid and trodden. It’s not clear where, why or how he came by his has name. Rumor hash it – it’s down down to his signature check markings on the trail, or that it is connected to the fishing trip (ref Hash #2654?) or that the said item was once revealed mid-hash and that there are still many a livestock unaccounted for. Those that have been rounded and despite their rehab, are still refusing to leave the stables, but who knows and I don’t want to spread false rumors or hope that the sheep were not harmed.
Info about The Bull Inn. It’s a pub in Launton. It has beer, it has light refreshments, it has style, it has grace… it probably has tables and chairs. Tripadvisor, is my favourite quote and source of the most useless information today… It says about the pub food:
“Good Standard, nice selection and the menu wasn’t overcrowded”.

This is a huge relief. I don’t know about you, but an overcrowded menu really is …. like a trail with too many falses. Hopefully none of that for us! We do like a crowded Hash though, so dust off your Reebox’s or your Nike’s and dial it in for this Sunday! Gorgeous!
