The Plough Inn, The Bottom, 5 High St, Finstock, Chipping Norton OX7 3BY.

Meet at 11am for the off.
Good things come to those who wait…
Friends, beer, the sun, the flour dobs, the trail, the checks, the On-On and eventually the On-In.
This week sees the return of our experienced Hare double trouble synchro pair – otherwise known as Bondage and Dingaling. They were spotted in a post of Facebook on Friday no less, enjoying the early April heatwave, admiring the lambs and sampling the beer garden and ales on offer. Such is their dedication and professional commitment to laying the trail. Thank you!
Good things happen on the trail…
Join us this Sunday for what looks to be a cracking amble through the Chipping Norton fields of shiggy. Who knows, we might even bump into David C or Jeremy C while out and about. They were once rumoured to have laid a trail together, but alas, it was never proven. Probably a good thing.
Good pubs come to those who find the start/finish…
Sample the fine (and gluten free if desired) beer on tap at the Plough Inn, a perfect thatched roof 18th century pub, boasting with charm and as seems to be a popular feature – a find aunt sally in the beer garden [I swear – one of these days I am actually going to go over and look at one of these until I remember what they look like]. I have no clue.
But… bad things can and do happen…
and when they do – you can rest assured someone somewhere will be watching – keen to point out the little ‘deviation’ from the norm – keen to put you right front and centre of the down downs. There is nowhere to hide, no puddle to wash away your tears or the shiggy mess you’re in!
As ever, only time and beer will tell…
