Meet at 11am for the off.

Step forward Dormie and The Raiders of the Lost Launton Ark.

This week, we’re battling with snakes, snake charmers, hidden temples and making the most of our whips and pistols to swash buckle our way through the end of our January hash.

Subject: The Launton Labyrinth – A Flour Trail Adventure Awaits!

Fellow Explorers,

Intelligence reports suggest a hidden treasure awaits those brave enough to decipher the clues left by the enigmatic “Dormie.” A mysterious flour trail, winding its way through the picturesque countryside, is said to lead to untold riches (or at least a well-deserved pint at the Launton Arms).

I, your humble secretary, invite you to join me on this perilous quest. We shall face the unknown, navigate treacherous (or perhaps just muddy) terrain, and outwit the elements (or at least the occasional sheep).

Operation: Flour Trail

  • Objective: Follow the trail, decipher the clues, and claim your reward.
  • Meeting Point: The Launton Arms, 10:00 AM sharp (beware of late arrivals, the trail may grow cold).
  • Attire: Sturdy footwear, Indiana Jones-inspired attire encouraged (fedoras, whips optional, but highly recommended).
  • Provisions: Bring your own rations (water, snacks) for the journey.

Disclaimer: This expedition may involve minor risks, such as encountering wildlife (friendly or otherwise), encountering muddier-than-expected terrain, and the possibility of becoming hopelessly lost.

RSVP: Please let me know by [Date] if you dare to accept this challenge.

May fortune favor the bold!

P.S. Rumor has it that a special prize awaits the first explorer to reach the end of the trail.

P.P.S. Should you encounter any booby traps or perilous obstacles, please proceed with caution.

P.P.P.S. This invitation is strictly confidential. Do not reveal the location of the treasure to any rival explorers.

So there you have it…a beautiful invite from a beautiful friend of mine called Gemini, previously known as Bard.
