No Hashing Resumption Yet! (27 June 2020)

A big HHHi to all Bicester hashers!

Well, after the news about air bridges etc and everybody wanting to go on holiday, I expect you are all waiting for further news on any release from Lockdown and resumption of hashing.

I am sorry to say that at the moment there is no change to Bicester H3 policy of suspending the hashing programme.

Simply put, the Government Guidance about group activities has NOT changed in relation to what we want to do. There is still in place a maximum allowable grouping of 6 people from different households and the Mismanagement believe it is the right decision to continue to abide by these regulations.

Despite what is seen on the news about non socially distancing groups – Brighton beach, raves in London and Liverpool celebrating their title win – safety of our members continues to be our No1 priority. We cannot just follow our hearts and start hashing again; this time we need to let our head govern our actions.

We will continue to monitor the situation and also consider what other hash groups may be doing; but regrettably at the moment we have no change for Bicester H3 Hash House Harriers.

Keep well, keep safe and watch this space.!
