It’s a close run thing – except for those walking – but the results are in and its the LION.
Sunday 18th February, trail # 2562, the venue is The Lion, 70 High Street, Waddesdon, Buckinghamshire HP18 0LB. Meet for an 11.00 “off” when our hare will be “Stalker”.👣
Can we PLEASE park towards the back of the car park? AND PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL CAR PARK USERS WILL NEED TO REGISTER THEIR CAR IN THE PUB (AFTER THE RUN IS FINE) TO AVOID A FINE!!
So, we are on home ground for the elusive Stalker; if memory serves me well, she was hash christened at this same hostelry.
Who knows where the trail will take us, having had to totally reorganise the trail because of the change from the other pub? Hmmm……🤔😂
This is, unquestionably, a delightful area for a trail, or at least it was before HS2 took a hold on things. But the pub is a good platform for a trail, and I’ll stop there as I’m sure we’ll all benefit if I don’t do any train jokes….🛤️
Good pub for when we get back and a cosy area for us all to congregate. Hashers are simple folk and the pub ticks all the right boxes. 🍻 Note that the hare has just mentioned that dogs are not allowed in the pub BUT are ok in the sheltered area at the rear of the pub.🐕🦮🐩🐕🦺
