The Weatsheaf, Main Street, Maids Moreton, Buckingham, MK18 1QR

Meet at 11 am Sunday for the off.

This Sunday 19th Oct is your time again to join BH3 on another postcode lottery of a trail.

Your hare this week is also your scribe, so time is short and flour is in the garage – burning with desire to be set free and laid out across the fields, the tracks, the tarmac paths and the shiggy. Modest and mild, fast and wild and maybe a little less circular and a little less predictable.

The last trail I laid, saw the front runners head down and guided by the wind as they flew right around. This time, hopefully a little more twists and turns, and a little more hooks to keep the pack together.

No AI this week, all of my compute power has gone into OS Maps (thank you LandRanger 1:25 000) you are my hero.

The pub looks lovely, warm and cosy. They are happy for us to park in the pub car park, so long as we don’t block anyone in! There is also plenty of spaces on the road just to the north of the pub, Walnut Drive, if the car park is full. The beer on tap varies, but was “Tring : Side Pocket for a Toad” last time I looked. Don’t ask, just drink…

I’m not sure about circle and down downs… there is a big beer garden and a private room we might be able to use – if it is not booked out. There could be rain…

Well, there you have it. I’m about to post on friend of Maids Moreton and Buckingham What Matters – to ‘appraise’ the locals of the flour storm coming… but there’s also the fair in town Saturday night, which miraculously disappears without trace only to return and do the same all again next weekend.

I hope – really hope – that they don’t take our flour with them! Worse things have happened at sea.

What’s not to like?
