One of the Holy of Holies, the Rose and Crown holds its place up there as one of the great local meccas for beer. Many beer festivals held here and the pub maintains its general policy of relying on beer for its livelihood, no food. Listen, can you hear it calling Home Alone?
But that side of things is only AFTER the trail which is in the heart of some beautiful Cotswold countryside. I wont even peek at the Ordnance Survey maps to try and guess the routes, the pleasure of the unknown trail will be everything.
Cunning and Guile working together in the form of RDT and Preacher – I’ll leave it to you to guess which is which – we cannot fail to have fun.
Then back to the pub for liquid and social satisfaction!
