The trail this week is laid and set by The Duches.
Yes, that’s right – our trail this week is a Royal Trail laid by none other than our very own Duchess.
We are truly honoured and in the presence of royalty! Royal flour for our bank holiday trail. BHHH HRH!
Now the pub, is looking great. The car park, on the other hand, only has room for a royal carriage or two – so best bet – for us mere mortals is to park down the street. Royal instruction suggested parking on the right along the Littleworth Road, past the school car park.
The trail has been laid and is within the *normal range of acceptable distance’. I could say the distance, but that feels like too much information!?!
The walkers trail is slightly less as a circular walk around shutover at 5km. By royal decree, there are no stiles or sheep/cows on this trail. Amazing what blue blood can do for you!
It doesn’t stop there… We’ve also got reserved tables in the beer garden from 7.30pm (just in case Clippety is back early) and they are under cover (not hidden or in disguise) – just providing shelter in case of rain. The tables are also Dog friendly, which is nice.
As ever, only time and beer will tell…
