The trail has been laid, the flour is down, the pub consulted and the traps are set. All we need now is a bunch of beer drinking BH3 Hashers to take it on. Step forward one and all for this one and only #2616 Hash.
Step forward Clippety Cloggs – as our gallant and brave Hare this week – leading us through the brambles, over the rickety styles, through the shiggy and out onto the tops – and if you stick with it, or back track, or don’t move at all to begin with, you might just make it back to the pub. We thank you Clippety Cloggs for your time and dedication to laying the trail. Just in case, I also extend our Hash thanks to Dogloss, just in case it was a combined effort. I’ve made that mistake before (the other way around) – so I’m covering all bases with a double-thanks.
So what do we know about The Trigger Pond…. well, we know they are busy on Sunday, and busy serving Sunday lunches. So much so, that they have no room for us in the Inn. We remain very welcome though, and they will happily serve us beer a plenty – so long as we stay outside. Do they know it was the Summer BBQ last week? It’s obviously catching on… We also know the car park is for those people coming to the pub for Sunday lunches, so please don’t park in the pub car park. Your car is at risk of turning into a themed table car for extra paying guests…
The RAs have been continuing with their spa treatment, just back from a spiritual journey of wellness spending time with their friend Jack (Daniels). Thrifty and Maraschino are in touch with their inner Zen. They are elevated above us mere mortal hashers, and are all seeing and all knowing.
In short a couple of tipsy know-it-alls. But do they know or will they know all that goes on and off – on the trail this week? Will there be down downs for those who twist their melons man? As ever, only time and beer will tell…
