HHHi Bicester Hashers!
Did you enjoy the trail last night? Well, 28 hashers certainly did. Thank you Bollard (Bob Green) as well as an assist from Lockjaw (Stewart Rust) – you will be thanked (!) in a subsequent hash.
So, on to the question of hares!
We have 52 trails – more or less – each year.
Since 21st April this year we have now had 17 great trails; our numbers are up and we average more than 20 hashers per trail.
But
Think on this.
By end August – AFTER WHICH WE HAVE NO HARES LISTED – we will have had 22 trails, all laid by a total of just 13 hares!
Yes, just 13 hares/ pairs have stepped up to the mark to provide the entertainment which we all enjoy.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE step forward for this vital job.
