Monday 15th May. Trail #2522. Wytham Woods, Wytham, Wytham, Oxford, Oxfordshire OX28QQ. Meet for a 7.00 start with our hare Sir Bollard and his assistant Dormie, then after at the White Hart in Wolvercote.
The famous hasher Sir Bollard will guide us – with a little help from Dormie – into the mountainous regions of Wytham Woods. Immigration control has been cleared and all are welcome – EXCEPT DOGS (Sorry)
The tradition continues, and who better to perpetuate it than the Kidlington Knight himself. It’s a sure sign that spring is here when we walk/r*n through the lovely countryside where these flowers are present. Their favourite habitat is the side of hills in woodland, so be warned!
Once you have completed the tricky trail, then you can proceed to the next stage with your animals that have been patiently waiting fo your return; we will have our “afters” at the lovely community pub in Wovercote – The White Hart Inn – where you may be able to order a lovely pizza if that is your wish. However, the quality of the excellent ale served there should satisfy even the most demanding of hashers for appropriate refreshment.
