Yes, its Clippety’s turn to lay a trail, NOT Clippety AND Dogloss! Just Clippety. Are you getting the drift of the info? It’s just Clippety.

Right then. Sunday 15th Jan, trail # 2505. Your hare is Clippety (in case you hadn’t heard) and the venue is The Crown and Tuns, New St, Deddington, Banbury OX15 0SP. The off is 11.00 am.

For those of you into stats provided by Dingaling, its been 10 years since we had a trail from Deddington, and the trail was laid by our dear departed friend Shagger!. In total only ever 3 trails from Deddington, 2 of which were laid by Shagger, and none from this pub!.

I had a message from Clippety suggesting there might – or might not – be water on the trail. Perhaps those older hashers will recall the trails they have followed and enjoy their walk on it on Sunday.

The advice given by Clippety is to park on the road, should be no probs on Sunday. Bring clean and dry shoes for the pub (sound ominous) and have a look at the pub website if you want to book post hash food.

But there you have it. Our hare has cleared the pub in advance; lets hope that HS2 or EW rail aren’t involved in anything locally, otherwise the trails will be blocked like last week (who was the hare? 🤔😂🏃🏻‍♂️)

But you can’t knock it. A trail in a long forgotten area, a pub anticipating our arrival and a great group of friends waiting in the pub for a lovely post-hash chat.

What’s not to like?
